Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 9-12 months


Role Description:     
The Global Supply Service Chain Program (GSSCP) team manages key projects that fall under the strategic program Proactive SSC (Service Supply Chain).  Using the Pega Systems PRPC 6.3 platform we build new capabilities that allow our business teams to be agile and responsive to our customers.  With this platform we will achieve lower cost of system ownership and faster delivery of applications.   We seek a highly skilled Pega Business Architect to join our high performing team. 


Candidate Responsibilities:
•    Conduct and document a detailed value case for the project
•    Create Application Profiles for individual projects
•    Plan and organize DCO sessions
•    Facilitate and Lead the DCO sessions
•    Collect functional requirements and document use case
•    Document flows
•    Architect work item relationships
•    Wireframe User Interface
•    Identify user interaction requirements including system reaction time and screen flow performance
•    Automate business policies
•    Create correspondence templates
•    Design and build reports
•    Conduct functional testing
•    Protect and curate existing frameworks and architectural components   


Candidate Skills/Experience:
Required:
•    6+ years as a Pega Certified Business Architect (CBA)
•    Solid Analytical Skills
•    Process Modeling and Design expertise
•    Business Process Management experience
•    Cost and Benefit analysis experience
•    Strong communication and facilitation skills
•    Strong MS Office expertise (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, MS Project)

Preferred, but not mandatory:
•    Service Supply Chain or logistics background
•    Knowledge of   SSC tools:  Oracle 11i applications (Order Mgmt, Inventory, Oracle Workflow), Xelus, ETL platforms and Business Intelligence applications (Services BO Business Objects universes)
•    Experience with  IT PLC (Project Life Cycle) Implementation Methodology
•    Business Objects Reporting (mid-level experience)
•    Experience designing GIS-integrated applications including mobile platforms

Recommended Certifications:
•    Six Sigma (green or black belt)
•    Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP)
