       Start date:   ASAP

       Duration:  6-12 Months



9-10 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst with Insurance and Underwriting exposure.  Preferably they would have good hands on experience with Use Cases and Process Flow Maps. 


Job Description

Senior Business Analyst to document functional and product requirements for our Underwriting Unit's. The candidate should be detailed oriented with excellent analysis and problem solving skills and have the ability to work independently as a self-starter. Having leadership skills and ability to mentor other team members is a plus. Commercial Insurance Domain and Agile Methodology Experience is also a plus. 

Position Description:

*Ability to discover the 'real business need' through GAP analysis, business process analysis and interactive working sessions with our business partners. 
*Ability to transform complex business processes into simple-to-comprehend business requirements using primarily Fully Dressed Use Cases. 
*Ability to shape unstructured and disjointed information into cohesive business requirements. This skill relies upon root cause analysis capabilities. 
*Ability to analyze and document end to end business requirements through, Business Process Maps, Use Cases, Mockups, Prototypes, Data Dictionaries, and Business Domain Models. These skills will be used within a large program of work to develop strategic cutting edge UW systems and sunset legacy systems. 
*Candidate will apply knowledge of system capabilities and business needs and work with development team to identify system solutions. 
*Ability to conduct and facilitate system testing, quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing, and user training sessions as needed to support functional and maintenance releases. 
*Ability to communicate and interface effectively with business units, technology teams, support teams and individuals at all levels of the organization to understand and document requirements (such as functional, interface, and GUI designs).
