Title: Business Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Responsibilities:
Provides leadership in the facilitating and gathering business requirements support National Account Business. Developing or identifying the impact to the various business models. Requirements / Use Case delivery will be required to enable the Technical Team to deliver the appropriate solution to business needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Leads and/or participates in discussions with technical staff and user groups to transfer development activities to technical staff. Ensure that all software is properly component and system tested before release to Plans. In addition, partners with technical staff and user groups to hold walkthroughs to confirm user acceptance of business requirements, prototypes and UI mockups.
Develops business use cases and business focused non-functional requirements based on input from Plans and other user groups. Supports the development of business process model or impact to existing in order to define alternatives and solutions to meet business needs. Recommends alternative approaches to support the business need.
Oversee the development and execution of User Acceptance test plans and schedules and Partner Plan Testing.
Work with business and technical teams to assure product acceptance.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of four years' experience in business process design and business system design.
• A minimum of two years Rational Unified Process experience.
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, including presentation skills.
• Experience in leading and/or participating in supporting the technical leadership in a successful multi-vendor project development team.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team environment that is customer oriented.
