Job Description:
Client is seeking a contractor to provide Senior Business Systems Analysis Services.
Responsibilities for this position include:
• Experience in Business Process Modeling and experience in creating Business Requirements Document (BRD) consisting of Functional Requirements, Non-Functional/Feature Requirements, Business Rules and Use Case Requirements
• Working knowledge of Microsoft windows tools including VISIO.
• Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and other project documents according to standard templates, using natural language.
• Coordinate with business units who test, validate and evaluate systems changes.
• Excellent communication and Interpersonal Skills, capable of communicating with higher management, and directors.
• Exceptional mediator between external and internal customers, capable of interpreting their needs and positions to ensure the success of the projects.
• Ability to get work done in high pressure multi-customer environment.
• Participate in the process of designing test cases and scenarios.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Required Experience:
• Minimum of (7) seven years' experience as a business systems analyst.
• Demonstrated experience documenting functional requirements, technical specifications and designs for existing and new applications.
• Demonstrated experience documenting Use Cases and UML.
• Participate in requirement and use case transition.
• Experience working within Systems Development Life-cycle (SDLC) and Agile.
• Identify and document detailed System requirements by working with the appropriate Business owners, designers, developers, testers, project managers, and other analysts.
• Analyze and document system rules and process flows.
• Serve as a liaison between the business community and IT organizations as required to ensure System requirements are fully supported by IT.
• Schedule and facilitate JAD sessions as required to ensure requirement accuracy and completeness as well as timely resolution of issues.
• Participate in peer reviews of authored system requirements.
• Document requirement changes, rationale, and initiative/application impacts.
• Maintain System Requirements (bi-directional) Traceability and obtain client and IT signoff.
• Work effectively on multiple assignments, activities or projects.
• Assist in developing QA test plans, scripts and scenarios based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Requirements/Knowledge
• Minimum of (4) year college degree, or equivalent training and experience.
• Understanding of application programming, database, system design, and data exchanges in both mainframe and client server environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
• Experience with systems development methodology
• Experience working on large, complex systems in a Matrix or Projectized environment.
