Location Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 6 months+
Skill SAP Project Systems – Expert Knowledge
Total Experience 5 years plus
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years working in a SAP implementation environment as a consultant or a SME in a project implementation team. In addition, the candidate should have worked on one complete life-cycle implementation. This individual should have demonstrable skills of interfacing with customers to determine business requirements, and have good business process knowledge of how these processes impact the solution.
Hands-on configuration experience in the core module identified below is key and the ability to demonstrate that they have depth in their core module of expertise and breathe across other integration points of the SAP modules. The individual should be capable of leading small teams of 3-5 resources and able to deliver solutions with minimal guidance from project managers. Strong writing and documentations skills required.
• 3-5 years of SAP experience as an SAP implementation consultant in the respective SAP module- Project Systems.
• Strong understanding of at least one programming language.
• Strong knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging applications.
• Strong knowledge of application configuration, maintenance and support.
• Applies a broad knowledge of application programming and design to analyze and isolate issues.
• Exceptional ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors.
• General understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs.
• Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
• The consultant should have demonstrable skills of interfacing with customers to determine business requirements
Must have: (Core Knowledge of Project System)
SAP Core Experience with the following modules:
• PS-APP. Project budgeting
• PS-BD. Basic data
• PS-EXE. Project execution/integration
• PS-IS. Information system
• PS-OPS. Operative structures
• PS-PLN. Project planning
Some knowledge: (Financial Accounting)
• General Ledger (FI-GL)
• Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)
• Bank Accounting (FI-BL)
• Asset Accounting (FI-AA)
• Funds Management (FI-FM)
• Travel Management (FI-TV)
Other Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in computers, CIS or business)
• Able to collaborate with clients, and have a strong desire to excel.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, Good inter-personal skills
• Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload
• SAP certification (nice to have)
• Willingness to be cross trained in other modules
