We are searching for a senior level Android developer who is passionate about mobile applications and develops breakthrough designs.
Job Description
This role is for an experienced Android Java developer who can work independently without supervision. The individual will be responsible for design, development, integration testing and production-level support of mobile device software. Previous hands-on development experience with the Android SDK (java) is required, with experience in object oriented design and development.
Develop and direct Android application programming, testing procedures, and documentation. Having worked on apps subsequently deployed to Android Market is highly desired.
Required Skills
Java, 6+ years experience
Android, SDK/Eclipse, 3+ years experience
J2ME 2+ years experience
Experience with Android UI Layout, Database, Multi-Threaded, and Android Framework
Strong knowledge with UI and OO design and development
Sound understanding of TCP/IP-based network protocols, including HTTP
Sensitivity to issues of performance, software quality, and platform requirements
Ability to research technical issues and generate creative/innovative solutions
Strong initiative including ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Solid development habits and practices
Natural problem-solver and troubleshooter
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
BS in computer science or equivalent relevant experience
