UI Phone Developer

LOA: 1 year +

Phone hire

 

- Minimum 5 years of embedded SW development and UI toolkit development experience (any language: Java, Actionscript etc.)

_Experience developing UIs for small devices such as: phones/iPhones and games.

- Experience with multi-threaded embedded systems

- Strong OOP development background

- Experience connecting UI apps with backend (C++ based) systems.

- A proven track record of developing complex applications.

- Ability to identify performance bottlenecks, refractor and re-implement for improved performance while supporting existing functionalities.

- Unix/Linux environment experience preferred.

- Strong communications experience and ability to speak up and provide solutions to resolve issues with current system

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Collaborative and product-focused attitude. 

- BS CS/CE/EE or equivalent

* Candidates who have only done UI development in pure web environments will not be considered!

 

Plusses:

 

- Experience utilizing Flashlite,  AS2, or AS3 for UI development

- Set-top box/ DVR software development experience
