Title: SSIS Developer

Location: Nashville, TN

Duration: 3 months

 

MUST:

 

-3-5+ years strong experience working with SSIS development and test environments

- Experience with implementing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

-Install and Configure Development and Test environments for SSIS.

 

D2D:

 

•         Gather and analyze requirements for common components and interfaces

•         Create architecture and design for common components and interfaces

•         Experience with Design and Development of Proof of Concept (PoC) artifacts/prototypes to support key design concepts using SSIS packages

•         Execute tests to capture performance of PoC artifacts/prototypes in the Test environment.

o          Based on the test results, recommend scale out architecture required to sustain the anticipated load.

•         Execute Performance Tests on the artifacts/prototypes developed during the definition of architecture. The test results will be used to extrapolate the behavior of the adapters against the load. Based on the extrapolation, a scale-out model of design will be defined to sustain the load predicted to be handled by the solution.

 

•         Install and Configure Development and Test environments for SSIS.

o   Work with client SME/administrators to create required service accounts.

o   Install development tools in the development environment.

o   Install SQL Server with SQL Server Integration Services component activated.

•         Analyze the requirements and evaluate high priority interfaces for migration into SSIS for batch processing interfaces.

•         Develop a solution design and architecture document that will define common components and interfaces that are required to be built.
