FTP Developer
Work Location: Sacramento, CA
Duration: 3 Months Contract
Rate : Market

Position Overview

•          Our customer is looking for an experienced developer to bring to assist customers in getting their FTP clients configured correctly.

•          They currently use an Axway product which uses Tumbleweed secure transport product and they also use eGate (Sun product) as the interface engine.

•          The ideal candidate would have practical experience in both products but if not, then we are looking for someone who has secure FTP experience with the technical background that would allow
            our customer to teach that person the eGate product.

 

Required Technical Skills:

•          5 + years of strong FTP (FTP(S), SFTP) experience

•          Open PGP experience

•          WS FTP Pro Experience (as well as other FTP Clients), we have to assist the customers in getting their client configured correctly.

•          Tumbleweed Secure Transport experience (would be nice)

•          eGate experience in 5.1.3 and 6.3 (would be nice)

•          HL7 (Nice to have)

 

Required Soft Skills:

•          Good communication (A lot of customer interaction required)

•          Good Critical Thinking (Not all ST projects are cookie cutter, need to be able to come up with creative solutions)
