Santu walks towards the stage to address the audience. Dharamraaj, his family & Santus family wonder what she would speak. Santu starts reciting Gayatri mantra & says that her grandfather has taught her to thank God for the blessings he showers on everybody. She also says that if Maalik is happy, then she is happy. There is a round of applause for Santu & Dharamraaj is invited at the stage to accept the award from Santus hands. Santu gives the award to Dharamraaj & he says that he owes the award to his wife. On hearing this, Hiten feels that his father in Santus context, he gets frustrated & leaves. Dharamraaj continues to praise his wife & thanks her for being his motivation. He then reveals that he is talking in the context of Subhadra, his dead wife. This makes Madho & Khemi stunned & Dharamraajs family feels proud. In the ceremony, people talk among themselves about Santu & her addressing Dharamraaj as Maalik. Viraat adds fuel to the fire by instigating the ladies talking about Santu. He tells them that Santu is not given the due respect which she deserves. He also bribes a journalist for inquiring Santu about his marriage.
