GENERAL SUMMARY:
The primary responsibilities of this position are application
development, design, maintenance, technical leadership and 'on call"
support. With general supervision, provides support to existing
production applications; and, performs technical analysis, design,
development and implementation of new applications using existing and
emerging platforms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides application analysis, design, development, testing, deployment,
documentation, and integration.
Supports business process, problem analysis and consultation
Processes open defects or maintenance tickets and resolve technical issues
Ensures application and promotion package documentation is current and
complete
Provides afterhours "on call" support.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 3 years of experience in working with Microsoft SQL Server,
Transact SQL, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
Windows Shell Scripting experience
Bachelor's degree with a major in computer science, computer information
systems or related field required.
OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree an additional five (5) years of
development/support experience in addition to the experience requirement
listed below.
Three (3) years experience working in a support/development environment
required
Understanding and following SDLC methodology required.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to
handle multiple project and timelines required.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
Excellent problem solving skills required.
Testing procedures including creation of unit test cases/scripts, test
data and validation of results required.
Ability to ensure SDLC methodology is followed, including conducting
code reviews required.
Ability to create detailed technical design, code, test, debugs,
document, and maintain applications required.
