Must-haves:
-Ability to interpret and develop detailed network/system drawings.
-Strong Knowledge/experience 3G & 4G Technologies: Diameter (RFC 3588) protocol/applications/interfaces, LTE/EPC/IMS architectures (PCRF, PCEF, MME, BBERF, CSCF, DRA, OCS, OFCS)
-Telecommunication skills: Diameter base ( RFC 3588) and any Diameter relating application – LTE/EPC/IMS: Cx, Dx, Ro, Rf, Gx, GXa, X1, X2, Sh, S6a S6d, etc.
-Knowledge & experience with the following LAN technologies: Ethernet (10/100/1000/10G), VLANs, Spanning-Tree, and switching knowledge
-Knowledge & experience with hardware platforms and Operating Systems: Linux/Unix, Windows XP
-Knowledge & experience with SCTP, TLS, IPv4, IPv6, TCP/IP Protocol
-Technical solution analysis, architecture, and design
-Migration and Database Conversion planning
-Performance/Optimization Tuning
-Integration/Interoperability Testing
Plusses:
-Any familiarity with DSR (diameter signaling router) or DIH (Diameter intelligence hub),
-Any work with products in the SDM (Subscriber Data Management) family, particularly experience with SDS (Subscriber Data Server) would be a huge asset.
Day-to-Day:
The team of Senior Professional Service Engineers will be leading the deployment and support of a new product called DSR or Diameter Signaling Router. The engineers will go through a 3 week training on DSR and other Diameter based products before engaging with customers. They will be working with the clients 3 best customers in the support of DSR and deployment of the nodes. Services provided include initial system implementation design and architect, network integration, system provisioning, capacity analysis, special feature implementation, Test Plan creation and execution and other services as specified by the support contract and statement of work. The Service delivery activities include on-site and remote implementation of new systems, technical discussions, and explanations of proposed solutions with customers, development of methods of procedure and other documentation as required by the customer with the new product.
