Position: Mid C# Programmer.

 

Location:  Rockville, MD

Duration: 3 months

Rate: ALAP

 

 

Client is in the process of staffing a project to support integration of legacy Websites(monorails/MVC) and an old site built using ColdFusion.  

Client is looking for someone who can do the hands-on work under minimal supervision. 

 

Here are the requirements. 

 

 

Professional Requirements:

 

-5+ years of C# experience

-3+ years of ASP.NET MVC development, Monorail/Castle preferred

-Strong knowledge of the .Net Base Class Library

-Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming

-Strong knowledge of unit testing standards and practices

-Strong knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, Monorail, Castle, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery

-Experience with .NET 1.1/4.0 features and Visual Studio 2003/2008/2010

-Experience with using SQL Server as a backend

-Experience with Entity Framework

-Must be a self-starter

-Must be accountable for deadlines and code quality

-Excellent communication skills

-Must be able to participate in design and code reviews

-Must be able to assist team members in the completion of tasks and assignments to ensure project completion

 

 

This is the most critical skill sets: -Strong knowledge and minimum 5 years of experience using C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery with the preference for working knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, Monorail, Castle.
