 Requisition Information

Under general direction, independently develops, modifies, and implements moderately to highly complex information systems that are thorough and accurate and conform to MST standards. Translates customer requirements, recommending system solutions and formulating detailed specifications from which programs are written. Independently researches and resolves more complex technical problems. A top level technical contributor in one or more highly specialized phases of application system analysis and programming with strong business application knowledge. May serve in the MST Solutions Framework roles of Development Lead, Must coordinate development efforts with Testing Advocate and Operations Advocate.

* 5-8 years experience programming in DB2 COBOL JCL

* Knowledge and understanding of WEB technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, web services, and ASP.NET) helpful but not a requirement.

* 3-5 years experience development methodology

* Experience supporting on-going maintenance, customization and extension of the retail applications

* Strong organizational skills, demonstrating ability to manage multiple projects

* Strong partnership skills, demonstrating ability to work as a member of cohesive team

* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

* Ability to effectively gather and translate business requirements into functional system requirements.
