Job Description - We are seeking an application development resource to assist in a conversion of 4 related systems from VB6 to VB.Net. The project team consists of a PM, an IT Lead, a testing lead, and 4 other developers. The contractor selected will receive specific coding assignments in the conversion and be expected to report progress weekly. Participation in a structured code review process is expected.

 

Additional Description - 4 yr college degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Management Information Systems Job experience equivalent: 24 months IT application development experience Demonstrated working knowledge of the entire Software Development Lifecycle Proven ability to clearly and effectively communicate business and technical information, both verbally and in writing. Within the last two years: 12 months coding and unit testing experience in technical skill set required for role (i.e. VB.Net, VB, SQL Server, DB2, systems integration, etc.)
