IBM DataPower XI50 is leveraged by Client to serve as an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). This position requires support for on-going Design, Development, Systems test, Performance test, User Acceptance test, Production and post-implementation activities.
Development activities require strong knowledge of IBM DataPower XI50, IBM WebSphere MQ, ODBC, XML, XSD, XSLT, and Web Service development, deployment, and governance.
Tasks:
IBM DataPower XI50 Developer will be responsible for gathering and defining requirements, designing, developing, and deploying the changes into various development and test environments. In addition, continuing to support on-going test and production implementation activities.
1. Work with Technical Lead and/or Architect to gather additional requirements/changes
2. Develop and support on-going test and production implementation activities
In addition, the IBM DataPower XI50 Developer will also be accountable for the following:
1. Meeting the milestones set for the project
2. Participating in design, and code reviews
3. Documenting and educating internal staff
Skills V DataPower XI50 developer:
This position requires a BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience, and at least 6 years experience with n-tier, database and service-oriented design/development with a minimum of 2 years experience using IBM DataPower XI50
X Strong hands on experience with general development on IBM DataPower XI50
X Strong understanding and knowledge of Security implementation for high volume internet facing applications using DataPower XI50
X Experience in MQ Series, DB2
X Experience with Web Services (WSDL, SOAP, XML, XSD, XSLT)
X Experience in J2EE platform (Java, JSP, Servlets, JMS, EJB)
X Experience with software development best practices (RUP, XP, Agile)
X Familiarity with UML, Design patterns
Software:

3. XML, XSD, XSLT
4. DB2 UDB
5. DB2 Z/OS
6. Microsoft Suite
