Description: Sr .Net Developer with Strong WCF Exp--F2F Interview Required.
Location: RI
Duration: 6 Months
Has to start on Monday
Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, or a related discipline.
· 5+ years of experience in business application design, development, installation and modification in a complex client server environment.
· Experienced in structured and object oriented design, development and implementation of business applications in current computing architectures.
· Demonstrated knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle as it pertains to software development projects.
· Working knowledge of relevant technologies, tools, and middleware, object oriented development, web based development, multi-tiered application, .NET 3.5/4.0, C#, VB.Net, LINQ, WPF, ASP.Net, AJAX, HTML / XML / XSL, WCF, Entity Framework / NHibernate, Oracle, SQL Server, stored procedures, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting Services, ODBC, ADO.Net Entity Framework 4.0 and above.
· Conceptual knowledge of information technologies in distributed client/server environments.
· Application development using current computing architectures and environments (e.g. multi-tiered Client/Server Web).
· Analytical and problem solving skills.
· Ability to estimate assigned development tasks.
· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with an ability to translate technical concepts as appropriate to the level of the audience.
· Ability to work self-directed and as part of a team on projects of varying size; works well on cross-functional project teams and shows commitment to tasks, project, and to team.
Skills Required:
o C#
o .NET
o WCF
o LINQ.
o Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server.
o SSIS
o SQL Server 2008 R2
o Majority of development will be back end server based business Logic (Non-UI).
o Familiarity with SharePoint APIs is a plus.
o Knowledge of Object Oriented Software Design Patterns.
o Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
o Ability to formulate development estimates and meet deadlines.
o Excellent communication skills.
Bonus skills:
o The Unity application block from Microsoft Patterns and Practices
o Data Access Repository Pattern (from Domain Driven Design methodology)
o Experience with creating Claims based security aware WCF services
o TFS and Visual Studio
o SharePoint
o jQuery
o Unit Testing using Pex and Moles
o Task Parallel Library in .Net 4.0
