Job Title: Sr. QA Analyst
Location: MA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
I have this immediate need it's a 6+ month contract located in Boston, MA. Phone interviews ok, out of the area is fine as long as the consultant can work on site in Boston 100%. The job description is:
Please look for candidates with some real hands-on TRM/Asset Management expertise?
Must have - at minimum - a bachelors degree
Please make sure to send QA specialists whose concentration is in Financial industry (spent good chunk of their time in Finance). If it makes sense to increase the minimum number of total years of experience (8-10+) then please feel free to do so.
Quality Analyst
Skill and Role Summary:
A hands-on successful financial QA tester with at least 5+ years of expertise in testing TRM, Banking etc…applications (preferably but not limited to '.NET' technology (both web and winforms), SQL Server DB, TFS (Team Foundation Server), MTM (Microsoft Test Manager) and SharePoint)
Main duties and responsibilities:
As part of a 6 member QATeam, the candidate will be an independent QA contributor on Back Office application(s) and responsible for certifying the quality of the product in an agile software development environment. Candidate should be flexible to juggle between projects without hesitation and in no time to provide QA support. Candidate will be interacting directly with the project team (Developers, BA's and Users) on daily basis and should dynamically provide test plans, captures defects and validate fixes. Should produce QA reports to measure success.
Requirements:
Client facing personality, smart, self-initiator, pro-active, flexible, responsible, individual contributor, team player and communication (both verbal and written)
Agile/Scrum development, Financial domain, any test and defect management tools experience
We had one person interview and was rejected here was the feedback:
Good in financial domain, has exposure to Methodologies and tools. The only challenge was in accuracy in responding to run time scenarios without requirements.
