Position: Backup Refresh Architect (EMC & Netbackup)
Location: Richfield, MN
Duration: 12+ months
We are in need of an Architect/Designer to work on the Backup Refresh project.
The team is planning and deploying a new backup environment.
Description of Responsibilities:
· Discovery of current backup environment to help design new environment
· Define requirements for new environment
· Design new backup environment
· Work with multiple vendors to learn current backup and to hand off new design
· Planning, testing, documentation and handoff of new environment to operational team
MUST HAVE
· EMC Avamar
· EMC Data Domain
· Symantec Netbackup
· Technical architecture
· Documentation
· Experience working with multiple vendors
· Strong communication skills
· High technical proficiency
NICE TO HAVE
· SAN, EMC Storage, IP Networking
