Job Title: Oracle DBA
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 6+ Months

 

*** Must have 9 or 10 years of experience ***

 

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
Minimum 2-3 years of enterprise operational experience and knowledge of maintaining databases in windows or Linux OS
Knowledge on how to support very large databases with heavy online and batch activities
Expertise in Oracle database monitoring, tuning, and upgrades
Expertise using data architecture support tools (e.g., ErWin, Data DictionaryTools - IBM InfoSphere, etc.)
Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle DBA certification preferred (i.e. Oracle Certified Associate)
Experience working in an Agile (scrum), and/or iterative development methodology.
Preferred experience and familiarity with IT best practices (e.g., CMMI, ISO9000, ITIL, COBIT)
