Position: QTP Automation Expert

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 6 months

Locals or nearby face to face must after phone interview.

 

Job Description

§         8+ years of experience on Software Testing in Finance and Banking domain

§         5+ years of experiencing automating financial application using QTP

§         Expertise in building enterprise wide QTP automation solution architecture

§         Well versed in creating robust frameworks for financial applications, primarily winforms with third party controls

§         Should have experience in running automation on virtual machines/environments

§         Automate existing functional manual regression/smoke test cases using QTP

§         Build & Execute the smoke/regression test scripts on different environments analyze results and prepare presentable report

§         Knowledge of SQL highly desirable

§         Assess and revise (maintain) existing test scripts based upon test results and/or changes in application

§         Work closely with Manual QA/Development team to understand automation requirements, and provide a strong automation service to various projects

§         Should have exposure to working in Agile methodology of software development

§         Knowledge of Financial (Trade and Risk Management) and Investment Banking applications will be an added advantage

§         Experience in integrating TFS with QTP

§         Ensure that processes and testing documentation meet total quality management and/or other reliability standards

§         Very strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills

§         Experience with Performance and Load testing tool is a plus

§         Experience with other automation testing tools like Coded UI, Test Complete is highly appreciated

§         Ability to work independently as well as part of a coordinated team

§         Self-motivated, dynamic, organized, and responsible, team player
