Level: Exempt Professional Critical Role: Responsible for development of design specifications, software coding, debugging, unit testing and system level integration of applications of a moderate level of complexity. Key Decisions Made: * Design, code, test software application * Assure that all work performed adheres to process, timelines and quality standards * Work with limited direction on assignments * Stay current with software and industry trends Knowledge/Experience: * Bachelor's Degree required * 2-3 years prior development experience * Proficient in Microsoft technology * Working knowledge of IT processes * Requires analytical skills and proficiency in developing structured logic * Thorough knowledge in current computer technologies: Classic ASP, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, C#, XML, Java, Microsoft SQL Server. Skills/Abilities: * Judgment /Decision Making * Effective Communication skills * Self Directed * Organizing/Planning * Collaboration * Problem Solving * Team Building * Ability to act as a mentor to associate developers

 

Sr. Level Looking for an individual to integrate current apps with Windows 8. C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server and DOJO Seeking candidates for the position of Software Engineer for our healthcare technology group. Responsibilities include coding, debugging, unit testing, and assisting with the design of healthcare software applications of a moderate to high level of complexity. Candidates must be flexible and willing to wear multiple hats in the development process.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintenance of existing applications and new product development • Code, test, implement and document software applications • Assist more senior team members with design & system architecture • Must be able to develop software within estimates • Stay current with software and industry trends • Provide 3rd tier support to Help Desk associates on an as-needed basis with minimal impact to development assignments • Interact professionally and effectively with co-workers and customers Required Skills: - 3+ years development experience in C# in an ASP.NET environment - 3+ years Web Application Development (HTML, JavaScript, & CSS) - 3+ years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL - Effective oral and written communication skills, interfacing with internal peers and management. Will also interface with customers and other non-technical personnel - Analytical skills and proficiency in object oriented development - Experience with a Source Code Control system - Experience in a Continuous Integration environment Desired Experience with the following technologies: - Single page web application - JS/AJAX frameworks (Dojo, ExtJS, jQuery, etc.) - Windows & Web Services (Web API, MVC, etc.) - Working with small teams using agile/scrum development methodologies - Microsoft operating systems, administration, and networking

 

QUALIFICATIONS: • 3+ years professional experience as a software engineer • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience. • Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, team oriented work environment • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads • Ability to operate effectively under conditions of moderate ambiguity
