Position: Sr Core Java Developer with Multi-threading / socket programming (Priority)

Required Skills:
· Proficient in writing client/server applications using core Java technology
· Experience with Java multithread application development
· Core Java/J2SE, including multi-threading, interfaces, and connection pools, TCP/IP-based protocols
· Proficient in Oracle database SQL queries.
· Strong ability to learn existing applications quickly and to be able to make modifications to them.
· Ability to work independently.
· Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments
· JUnit
· Design Patterns
· Spring framework knowledge
· Experience with Tibco or other data delivery system a plus
POSITION #2:
Position: Sr Java Lead with MapReduce experience
Location: NYC
Duration: Long term
Total positions -2, Contract
Rate - DOE
Required Skills:
- 8-10 yr exp in Java/J2EE technology on the server side - Java, Oracle PL/SQL, JavaScript, XML.
- Must have experience on mapreduce
- Minimum 2-3+ years of experience in Open Source frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Apache Commons
- Minimum 2+ years of Senior programming level experience involving some architecture and high level design
- Strong communication skills & Ability to learn quickly
- Skilled in supervising teams of at least 3 (onshore and offshore).
- Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
