Position: Senior/ Lead .NET Developer
Location: Bellevue, WA
Duration: 6 Months
Skills:
MUST HAVE: 6+ years in hands-on software development with .Net; good and recent UI development with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries ie. Jquery; Multitier .net and mobile application development
NICE TO HAVE: C/C++/Java background good to have
Interviews: Phone + Onsite
Responsibilities:
The Senior Developer will lead efforts to design and implement various aspects of our global transaction processing systems. Demonstrated expertise in developing highly available, reliable, and scalable .Net solutions required. Experience with Java technologies is a plus.
Primary responsibilities include implementing (analysis, proposal, design) enterprise-level system designs and working with one or more development teams to realize product design and implementation.
It is expected that the senior engineer be self motivated and function as a technical leader across multiple development teams. She/he must be an excellent communicator (verbal/written), demonstrate good team work attitude and ethics.
Qualifications:
o 5+ years' experience developing mission critical Web and backend applications in various capacities (ex: individual contributor, lead) with 6+ years in hands-on software development.
o Expertise in decomposing large problems to architect solutions that pays attention to reusable components.
Expertise in TDD. Willingness to work with QA in creating acceptance tests.
Mindset in performance, scalability and quality
Strong debugging skills. Ability to debug problems with and without presence of debugging tools i.e. using multiple traces ex: log files, event logs etc.
Excellent communicator, ability to drive the design review process across various functions ex: QA, release engineering, product owner.
Experience with SDLC / agile environment
Experience (at least 4 years) with the following technologies: .NET Framework, ASP.Net, Windows Forms / MVC, WCF, Web Services
C# (.NET v2.0 and higher) on Windows
Proficient in Transact-SQL. Awareness of performance issues when coding SQL.
Experience with JavaScript, Ajax, CSS.
XML, XPATH, XSL and XSD design.
C/C++/Java background good to have.
