Job Title: HRIS Business Analyst

Location: Addison, TX

Duration: 6 months

 

Experience Required: 6+ years

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Mandatory Skills:

• UltiPro support/BA experience
•Work directly with HR/Payroll Business customers to assess business needs and then translate those needs into effective technical solutions that align with project initiatives: •Determine operational/functional objectives for assigned projects. Gather information, evaluate requirements and solutions.

•Author functional specifications. Translate ambiguous business problems into recommended concrete technology solutions

•Author test plans based on requirements. Execute test plans and track defects/fixes.

•Provide functional and technical expertise and recommendations in assessing implementation of project objectives.

•Collaborate with internal and 3rd Party project teams.

•Investigate and resolve system related issues and provide first level support.

•Troubleshoot production issues and determine if the resolution can be found through business processes/actions or if escalation to the IT technical resources is necessary.

•Participate in weekly meetings with business and project teams to discuss projects, progress and issues to be resolved

Desirable Skills:

 

•Background in HRIS IT Business Analysis and technical solutions

•Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

•Experience with MS Office Suite and MS Visio

•General understanding of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL)

•General understanding of relational databases and database design in Microsoft SQL a plus
