Position: Sr / Lead Cognos Consultant

Location : Princeton, NJ

Duration: 6 Months

 

BI Programmer – Senior - The candidate must possess technical Microsoft BI

skills, Microsoft BI architecture/infrastructure skills, and project

management/coordination skills.

 

·        The ideal candidate must have at least 8-10 years of experience in

computer science or information technology with an emphasis on Cognos

Business Intelligence tool.

·        Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft BI tools.

·        Prefer 5 years Oracle/SQL experience

·        Experienced with upgrading Microsoft BI Software

 

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 

Experience:

 

·        The ideal candidate must have at least 8-10 years of experience in

Business Intelligence tool.

·        Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft BI tools.

·        Experienced with upgrading Microsoft BI Software

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·        Good interpersonal skills in order to interact with clients,

technical staff, and third parties.

·        Good oral and written communication skills with strong attention

to detail.

·        Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a

team

·        Experience with Microsoft infrastructure design, deployment, and

support.

·        Ability to document and resolve issues and risks with stakeholders

The candidate filling this BI Programmer - Senior position will be

responsible for the technical architecture & management of the Microsoft BI

Platform.  The candidate will design and deploy BI scorecards, dashboards,

multi-dimensional Cubes and adhoc reporting.  The candidate will recommend

solutions, develop solutions, test solutions, gain acceptance for

solutions, and negotiate/coordinate across multiple organizations for

timely and cost effective deployment of Business Intelligence

applications.  The candidate must possess technical Microsoft BI skills,

Microsoft BI architecture/infrastructure skills, and project

management/coordination skills.
