Role: Support Technology Deployment

Location Wilkesboro, NC

Duration: 6 Months

Skills and Experience:

 

• Project management experience
• Cisco background
• AIX background a plus
• Toshiba phone systems a plus
• Ability to manage and lead team of 8-20
• Able to flex to work schedule between days and nights (typically nights would be Sunday-Thursday, days would be Monday-Friday).
• High attention to detail.
• Help desk experience.
• Prior knowledge/experience with Lowe's systems a plus.
• IBM blade server & NAS experience a plus.
• Thin client and PC experience a plus.
• Printer experience a plus.
• Cat. 5/6 and fiber a plus.
• Indyme experience a plus.
• POS and self checkout register experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

Serve as contractor lead for assigned projects.  Position will lead a contractor team for deployment of retail store hardware.  Position requires technical knowledge along with people and management skills.

Scope and Additional Information:

Techincal project lead for assigned projects.  Current open projects include IBM Blade Centers, Store Refresh, North Lake Front end Reset and Verint.  Position would support assigned projects as needed.
