Position: Java/J2SE Backend Developer
Location: Grass Valley, CA
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
F2F interview is Mandatory for this position.

Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of applications and software components and Control Systems products working with a highly skilled R&D team.
Experience:
• 5 years in Java development (J2SE) or equivalent object-oriented programming;
• 5 or more years experience designing, coding and testing object oriented software;
• Solid experience developing applications on Windows and Linux;
• Experience with developing distributed components and Java network technologies is a definite asset;
• Experience with Agile based methodologies;
• Experience with deployment and integration of components in a large scale system considered an asset
Personal qualifications:
• Autonomous & self motivated;
• Passionate about software development;
• Ability to understand customer requirements;
• Facility to learn existing software;
• Proven track record of successfully working with cross-functional teams;
• Strong time managements skills;
• Customer oriented.
Academic requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science;
• Strong object oriented programming skills with Java and/or C++
• Good understanding of distributed applications and technologies;
• Knowledge of web technologies considered an asset
• Strong expertise designing and implementing user interfaces;
• Knowledge of video and audio technologies is an asset;
