Responsibilities:
I need a QA Tester, 4-7 years' experience, VB.net scripting experience on a SQL platform.
We are looking for QA automation team member primarily responsible for developing and maintaining VB.net front end software on SQL platform. Applicant must have experience in developing solutions interfacing with MS Access, MS Excel, and XML inputs or outputs. Candidate will be assigned high level requirements and will be responsible for developing , performing testing for assigned work. Successful candidate must possess strong analysis, problem solving, and task planning skills. He or she must be able to work independently.
Technical Skills:
• Expert in Visual Studio with extensive experience developing and supporting VB.net applications
• Expert in writing and executing SQL queries
• Proficiency with VB script syntax and semantics
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and developing detailed designs
• Knowledge of QA processes, test data management and software development life cycle
• Experience in the creation of test plans, detailed test cases, test scripts, and performance test planning and execution
Primary Skill: .NET Environment
Additional/Desired Skills:
SQL Programming - Intermediate
.NET Environment - Advanced
.NET Windows Forms Programming - Intermediate
Visual Basic .NET - Advanced
Mercury QTP - Intermediate
