Responsibilities:
Job Description – Salesforce Developer
The Salesforce Developer will work within an established Scrum based development team to analyze, design, and implement business critical solutions on the Salesforce.com platform including integration with existing enterprise systems.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
Education, Experience and Knowledge
§ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field, from a four-year college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant industry certification is preferred.
§ A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in software development, information systems, or equivalent technical environment, including previous experience in the development of highly transactional, mission critical enterprise applications.
§ A minimum of 2 years of experience designing and developing on the Salesforce.com platform with a strong background in Apex programming.
§ Experience developing integration processes using the Salesforce Web Services API.
§ Knowledge of Salesforce administration and best practices.
§ Strong knowledge of all aspects of the software development lifecycle: design, functional and technical requirements, coding, debugging, testing, release, and operational support.
§ Strong knowledge of agile software development methodologies, Service Oriented Architecture and object-oriented programming methodologies.
§ Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
§ Strong knowledge of relational database management system technologies and tools.
Skills
§ Excellent analytical skills.
§ Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
§ Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor.
§ Proven ability to work with business stakeholders in developing system requirements and translating business requirements into a technical design.
Abilities
§ Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, both independently and collaboratively.
