Summary
Our mainframe programmer analyst will perform new development, maintenance and enhancements to existing applications running in a mainframe environment. This includes: analyzing, designing, functional analysis, application design and support, coding, unit testing, testing/QA, debugging, unit and environment integration. The mainframe programmer analyst will have a good understanding of relevant business concepts and practices. Full project life cycle experience may be required.
Responsibilities
• Provide coding, testing, and implementation of COBOL and CICS solutions
• Focus on developing applications that meet user specification and expectations
• Work with other team members to understand business requirements and propose flexible solutions
• Provide specifications and designs in support of application development
• Respond to all reporting requests from the OSG mutual fund team
• On Call Support
Qualifications
· Strong Cobol, CICS, and DB2 skills
· At least 7-10 years of programming experience on a mainframe platform
· Knowledge of the financial services industry with an emphasis on mutual funds is preferred
· Bachelor's Degree is required

· Conversion of client data from a number of different provider sources to a standard implementation format
· Testing of implementation jobs as well as accurate interpretation of results to be provided to our external Fidelity clients to correct errors
· Aid in the analysis of production issues resulting from implementation activities
