Job Description Ø This Staff Applications Developer will collaborate proactively with functional analysts to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component designs and solutions. Ø This position will code, unit test, implement and support these enterprise application solutions. Ø The ideal candidate will reflect a mix of strong technical proficiency, application maintenance ownership, and the ability to work effectively with other business and technology personnel and internal customers to provide very responsive support to this global application. Total Role : Ø Oracle 11i EBS Development experience, Order Management module experience Ø Strong Oracle PL/SQL including ability to write complex queries and tune for performance Ø Exposure to SOA/Middleware/OBIEE Ø Experience with Forms and Reports 6i DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Ø Responsible for coding and unit testing application software across production support, enhancements and projects Ø Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution Ø Design and develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement and develop components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, and workflows independently or as a part of a team Ø Enhance performance in the Applications environment. Tuning code, reviewing table and applying indexes were needed. Ø Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards Ø Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing Ø Provide technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of expertise Skills Required: Ø Excellent technical skills with Ø Oracle EBS 11i including Order Management module Ø PL/SQL, SQL, Workflow 2.x, Forms and Reports 6i Ø C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, proficiency in Java and C/C++ a plus. Ø Solid experience with web services (.NET or Java) Ø XML (DOM manipulation, SAX parsing, XPATH, XSLT) Ø Strong understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, tablespaces etc.) Ø Excellent understanding of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and the translation of business requirements into them Ø Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management. Ø Good knowledge and understanding of Oracle API's Ø In-depth knowledge of applications code registration procedures Ø Good working knowledge in Unix/Linux shell scripting Ø Ability to identify system impact for small and large scale initiatives Ø Experience with global implementations of XXXXX Applications Preferred Ø Proficiency with MS Project/Visio Ø Bi-lingual Ø Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines Ø Able to effectively lead and motivate small project teams Ø Achieves results under limited direction Ø Strong customer and results orientation Ø Excellent oral and written communication skills Ø Strong interpersonal skills Ø Conflict resolution skills Experience Required Ø A minimum of (2) years of experience in IT/Technology Ø (1+) Years experience in application development Preferred Ø Experience with complex, multi-national application implementations Education Required Ø High School degree or equivalency Preferred Ø Certification in specific development and technology platforms Ø Associate or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or equivalent |
