Duration: 12+ Months
Requirements:
They are looking for a Senior Python Developer with strong Shell, Perl and SQL scripting skills. Additionally the developer will data sources, validate data quality and load data to Vertica.
(Vertica is not a necessary requirement for this role).
Will develop scripts, processes, and SQL queries for large (100 million rows) tables
Will develop aggregate/summary tables posting processes
Technical Skills:
Advanced skills in SQL query development
Comfortable with Perl and or Shell scripts
Comfortable in a Linux environment
Experience designing and developing processes for enterprise environments
Experience accessing data from external sources (HaDoop, CSV, SQL DB) and loading SQL DB's.
General Comments
Experience with large volume (10's -100's millions of records) data loads a plus
Pentaho ETL experience a plus.Need to be very backend
