Immediate need for QA Tester/Develop in Chicago .
6+ months contract.
Rate: open/hour.
Please only send qualified candidates with background in PL/SQL.
Onsite interview required.
This consultant will be working with in the REBSQA team focussing on Market Surveillance and Compliance activities such as regression testing for technical upgrades like .Net 4.0 etc.
Recruiting for a QA tester with a backend testing and/or development background. The candidate must be proficient with PL/SQL and be able to demonstrate intermediate to advanced query writing skills. It his highly preferred the candidate have 'back-end' testing experience where they have spent time mining data and analyzing complex trading functionality against requirements. Any prior database skills are especially desired. The candidate should be comfortable working in an 'agile' environment where they receive direction on an ad-hoc basis from team leads. Candidate should be prepared to provide concise, verbal, and written updates on a daily basis to team leads and be self-directed. Candidate should be prepared to attend meetings and interact with development in a hands on way on a daily basis. Candidate needs to be a 'self starter' and comfortable analyzing lengthy requirements documentation unassisted.
Main skills needed are strong SQL experience and VB scripting. Role entails both automated and manual testing however, resource needs tro have extensive automation experience. Experience in .NET testing preferred.
