Required

At least five (5) years Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) web services development experience using Microsoft .NET and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) Services;

At least five (5) years experience developing user interfaces using MVC, MV-VM.NET or equivalent design patterns;

At least five (5) years experience developing transactional databases using MS SQL Server and manipulating data using MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS);

At least five (5) years experience developing MS SQL Server (i.e., version 2005, 2008-R1, and/or version 2008-R2) Reporting Services (SSRS);

At least five (5) years development experience with Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) and Microsoft Office integration;

Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing web-based, .NET software components within a complex application;

Experience monitoring, supporting and maintaining the normal functioning of the web-based, .NET applications in a health care system;

Knowledge and experience of the various phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Experience producing requirements document, application architecture, system interfaces, data model, configuration management document, and procedural manuals; and

Experience performing application architecture and development services in a lead capacity.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

Possession of Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) or IT career certification(s) acknowledging area of specialization;

Experience designing and developing applications based on the CSLA.NET Framework;

Experience developing pharmacy and/or medication administration system(s);

Experience developing HL-7 messages for internal or external interfaces;

Knowledge and experience with the SharePoint Object Model;

Knowledge and experience in design, development, and administration of SharePoint sites using best practices;

Experience deploying enterprise technology solutions within a health care and/or correctional environment;

Ability to understand business requirements and translate into requirements for solution capabilities;

Strong analytical skills to assess current application and infrastructure architecture, and identify improvement opportunities;
