Senior Integration Engineer Position Summary
Engineers software platforms at the systems software level (WebLogic, JDK, SSL certificates, N1, Autosys, MQ, NDM) that meet business requirements, ensure scalability/performance/supportability, and conform to enterprise standards
Provides consultation at the highest technical level on systems design, planning, integration, implementation, scalability, problem definition, and resolution of Money Movement Solutions systems issues involving the interrelated demands of hardware, software, integration points, network, and information security.
Develops install guides and build specifications for pre-prod and production environments
Identifies significant systems infrastructure issues and mitigates technical non-functional risk throughout the development lifecycle
Keeps abreast of new technologies and evaluates new products and vendor proposals
Troubleshoots production problems across a wide range of systems software, system configurations, workflow, security issues, and interface connectivity. Escalation point for vendor technical support.
Skills Required at the Expert Level:-
BEA WebLogic (9.x or later) engineering and configuration, certificates
Sun Java Enterprise System (especially Sun ONE Web Server), UNIX (Solaris 10)
JDK configuration and administration, MQ Series
Skills Required at the Competence Level:-
Sun N1 provisioning system, Single sign-on architecture
Wily Introscope, Sun hardware
ClearCase, BIG-IP (LTM and iRules)
Java profiling and reading of thread dumps, OptimizeIt, JProfiler, or other Java profilers
TCP/IP
Peer reviews: engineering quality controls, LDAP
Creation of manifests, deployment diagrams, release notes, design documentation
Desirable Skills:-
Enterprise architecture, Load-balancing architecture
ANT, Maven, Anthill Pro, Archiva, Performance Engineering
SiteMinder, AutoSys
Perl, UNIX scripting, NDM Configuration
IBM Cognos, Oracle (10 or later) administration
Application build / configuration mgmt
