Urgent Need: VB.NET in MN

Duration:6+ months

VB.Net 1.1 skills.  We are looking for a two person team with the skills listed below that we can bring on together. 

 

Below are the skills and for this work the soft skills will be just as important as the technical skills

 

Technical Skills:

VB.Net 1.1 (strong experience with 1.1 is a must)

Visual Studio 2003

Visual Source Safe for source control is also a must

SQL Profile is a big plus

Experience with legacy code and understanding complex concepts.  I don't think we want someone fresh – I think some experience is going to be important.

Experience with data and SQL

 

Soft Skills:

Positive Attitude and thick skin

Likes solving complex problems – this involves more problem solving than coding in some cases

Strong technically, but able to work with the business and BA and make recommendations including those against what the business may be suggesting (if it is not the best technical solution)
