JOB DESCRIPTION: Sr. Programmer Analyst (Java / .NET)

• Java, Spring, Hibernate, JMS, SQL; and/or .Net C#, Winforms, Sprint.Net
• 3 plus years experience with XP or Scrum agile development methodology
• Refactoring existing code and implementing new features using test driven development
• Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Perforce, QuickBuild)
• Tomcat Application Server
• Deployment and configuration of application server on a Linux/Unix environment.
• Advanced knowledge of programming language(s), software development tools and environment(s)and systems analysis and functional design.
• Advanced knowledge of database design and database concepts.
• Advanced knowledge of application design principles, practices, system development methodologies and software life cycles.
• Thorough knowledge of project/task estimation and planning.
• Thorough knowledge of software change control procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to participate in all phases of application software development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead some phases of application software development.
• Demonstrated ability to direct the activities of programmers and programmer/analysts within a project.
