Title: Systems Analyst 1
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Position type: Contract to hire
Duration: 3 Months contract and full time hire.
Required Skills:
At least 5 yrs of IBM AIX administration experience in a leadership role required
Must have excellent communication skills
5 Years experience in a complex AIX environment
Desired Skills:
Need a Systems Analyst to provide high quality, customer facing technical support for a complex IBM p-Series/AIX environment supporting an SAP ERP System with an Oracle database.
Daily Work Description:
Analyze & evaluate major complex system/user project requirements.
Provide senior direction in complex root cause.
Installation & administration of AIX 5.3, 6.1 and 7.1 OS
Install and manage P700 frame architecture.
Install & configure Logical Partitions (LPARs) and high availability (HACMP).
Familiarity with SAP functional modules on AIX platform
Configure & maintain NFS, DNS, NIS, TCP/IP, Send mail, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP.
Advanced Shell scripting
Implement VIO Servers/virtual client profiles setup, configuring Shared Ethernet adaptor, testing cluster failover manually & creating virtual disk resources.
Provide work leadership.
