Technical Writer

Franklin Lakes, NJ

 

Job Description:

1.       Reporting to the Manager Global Security Management.

2.       the Technical Writer is responsible for writing and editing technical documentation for the Security Management functional area.

3.       This individual must have excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.

4.       This position requires strong research skills, detailed oriented and the ability to gather information from different technical areas and technical subject matter experts to translate technical requirements into standard documentation sets.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Experience creating system diagrams (network, server, etc) using Visio, MS Power Point and SnagIt

Work with various IT functional team members to gather detailed technical information for creating operational support documentation:

• Processes

• Procedures

• Engineering Design Diagrams

• Work instructions

• RACI Models (Responsible, Accountable, Communicated, Informed)

Experience creating with validation documentation

Must be self motivated and capable of working independently.

 

Background:

They prefer someone who came from a Technical background so they could attend meetings and create documentation on process ( Networking / Unix / Security )

 

Work Schedule: 8:30 - 5:00
