MS Exchange Migration Engineer
Work Location: Parsippany, NJ
Duration : 3 Months
Rate : Market

Work timings: 3PM – 11PM ( For 1 resource) & 10PM – 6AM ( For the other resource). They will work Sunday thru Thursday

Staffing for two (2) MS Exchange Migration Engineers 


MS Exchange Migration Engineer(s)

Provide dedicated resources to support the migration of user mailboxes from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 platform. Migration Engineer will follow written migration procedures and scripts, verify successful completion of the migration scripts by reviewing run logs, escalate issues as they occur to Pfizer's Messaging Engineering Team and document issues.

 

MS Exchange Migration Engineer(s)

          Work with Pfizer's Messaging Engineering Teams in implementing migration activities to Exchange 2010

          Perform migration tasks as they relate to the migration to Exchange 2010

          Perform preparation of mailbox move script to include daily account list

          Run predefined mailbox move scripts

          Monitor progress of move scripts

          Identify any errors during migration moves

          Escalate to Pfizer's Messaging Engineering Team for remediation of migration errors

          Document issues and remediation efforts for errors

          Track completion of successful migrations

          Provide daily migration run status to Pfizer's Migration Coordinator

          Interface with other Pfizer's Messaging Integration Service Team Leads

Background/Experience:

          Experience in email migrations

          Experience with Microsoft Migration Tool a plus

          3+ years experience with Exchange 2003/2007

          Exchange 2010 experience a plus

          Good team social skills

          Good Analytical ability and communication skills
