Solutions Architect / Serena (SBM) Administrator

Location:  Nashville, TN

Duration:  1 yr plus

 

Task Description:            

 

Back in 2009 this client was awarded funds for the purpose of developing and administering a study to determine the feasibility of designing, developing and implementing a core of UI system that could be used multiple sites. 

Serena Business Manager (SBM) has been identified as a software tool to track issues, action items and for the change management process for these four states. There is a need to have SBM Team Administrator who will administer SBM during the life cycle of this project. 

The candidate will need to have good work experience in SBM/Team Track and be able to create workflows for issue tracking, action items and for change management during this project lifecycle. Partners with key roles (e.g. project managers, business analysts, etc.) to create well-defined solutions that are aligned to the client's IT Strategy and leverages common solutions and services, to meet key project goals. Within the solution development lifecycle, this role will be responsible for solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. build decisions, early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case, and high level design. This role will provide guidance and architectural oversight during the detailed design, build, test and deploy phases.

 

Required Skills:

 

10 yrs IT experience

5 yrs functioning in the role as a Solutions Architect

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.         

3 yrs experience with Installation of Serena Business Manager/Team Track, License Manager, IIS Web server, Web services, configuring TT with email servers.       

3 yrs experience in Oracle and/or SQL server database 

3 yrs experience designing and creation of Workflows in Serena Business Manager/Team Track based on the requirements for Issue tracking, Action items, Incident Management and Change Management process flows and documentation.              

3 yrs experience with the creation of user, assign access privileges, creation of notification rules, setting up of knowledge base in Serena Business Manager/Team Track  

3 yrs experience with the creation of reports in Serena Business Manager/Team Track for various reporting purpose and tracking of issues.          

Experience training users and administrator in Serena Business Manager/Team Track
