Job title: Senior Exchange engineer

Duration: 12 to 18 months

Location: Dallas, TX

Work Remotely virally Preferred near Dallas, Philadelphia, Portland, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh

AND SITE LOC is TX - Dallas.

Role: Senior Exchange engineer capable of acting as a technical lead and collaborating with other technical, client, and project resources to facilitate solutions. Should be able to both lead/direct as well as perform project steps and technical hands-on tasks within a team (towers) environment on behalf of an outsourced service to a third-party client. Should also be available to respond to on-call requests associated with the project for high severity issues and hours may need to be flexible during build/migration activity performed outside of business hours.

Skills:

• Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010

• Blackberry Server – v.4x to current

• Active Synch

• OWA, ISA server, TMG and Boundary (SMTP) concepts

• Exchange backups, monitoring concepts

• Exchange anti-virus and message security, Forefront, etc

• Email archiving applications (KVS, Mimosa, SourceOne) and relates apps such as faxing

• Provide Storage requirements for Exchange (Storage calculator, SAN/Local)

• Physical and VM Server design / config for Exchange

Experience: Should have 5-7 years or more of Messaging Engineer (Exchange) Experience, at least 3 in a Senior level role. Should have 7-10 years or more experience in IT overall such as Desktop/Server support, Active Director support, administrative experience, etc. Experience should be from working in enterprise environments of approximately 3,000 seats/mailboxes or more, 10,000 seat+ experience preferred and should have experience in leading migrations and upgrades including:

• Planning (both architectural approach and detailed project plan steps

• Deployment- server build, configuration, test

• Migration

• Produce and update project related documentation – server build docs, visios, technical details for change control

• Participate in the existing procedures of the environment- change management, incident management
