Position: Sr. .Net Developer

Location: NYC

Duration: Long term

Locals or nearby (Face to face must)

 

Skills - VB.Net, SQL Server 2008, ASP.Net, C#, Crystal Reports, web services, .Net Framework, WPF & Silverlight being the core skills required.

Nice to have - Oracle, VB6, Cognos, Infragistics controls, SSRS, SSIS.

 

Duties - Design, Coding & testing. Work with the Business Analysts (BA's) to understand the requirements, prepare technical design documentation. Adhere to the standard coding practices. Coordinate with BA's to deploy and test the completed application and resolve any bugs discovered. Adapt to new technologies as per the project requirements.

 

Business Knowledge - Though, it mayn't be very important, it will certainly help if the candidate has some media experience (TV Ratings system etc.). Many of our systems automate TV Ratings delivery, Station Compensation, Program scheduling, Media Planning & Optimization.
