Project Manager with PeopleSoft Exp

Location: Pittsburgh

Duration: 4 Months

 

a)            Broad view planning, managing, and executing PNC's Centralized Receipt Strategy which includes but not limited to reconfiguration of PeopleSoft AP module to support Ariba Procurement workflow functionality

 

b)            Specifically, will provide functional project management and consulting services for:

1.            Gathering requirements (statutory and other)

2.            Providing best practices in design and configuration

3.            Assistance with developing a prototype

4.            Project planning

5.            Other application specific or business guidance for helping to create a PeopleSoft Financials environment which will support the requirements of a newly acquired company and forethought of design for future acquisitions requiring similar designs. 

6.            Will provide thorough documentation and knowledge transfer to PNC resources who are working on the specific projects being supported.

c)            Facilitate reconfiguration of Ariba to support additional workflows for DO and Non-DO non-payroll related transactions

 

d)            Responsible for delivery of assigned projects and tasks within time, cost & scope/quality defined boundaries, in accordance with the US Retail Banking Software Development Life Cycle Methodology

 

e)            Leads project teams to deliver solutions addressing customer requirements; defines milestones, resources & schedules. Creates project schedule, expense plan, tracking & reporting variables and other project artifacts as required

 

f)             Facilitate Functional Design, Test Planning and Test Execution.

 

g)            Lead in applying standard processes for scope/change management, risk management, issue management, quality assurance, & project communications

 

h)            Communicate to all technology and business stakeholders on a timely basis

 

i)             Deliver strategic, cross-functional, high visible Centralized Receipt Strategy project within time, cost, scope and quality defined boundaries, in accordance with the company's life cycle methodologies and disciplines.

 

j)             Manage complex interaction of multiple technical and business stakeholders that span multiple businesses, functions and geographies within PNC.

 

k)            Leads cross functional project team to deliver solutions addressing customer requirements; defines milestones, resources & schedules.

 

l)             Creates project schedule, expense plan, communication plan, tracking & reporting variables.

 

m)          Leads in implementing/applying standard processes for scope/change management, risk management, issue management, quality assurance, estimate variances and project communications.

 

n)            Facilitate, coordinate, and arbitrate cross-functional macro level topics, often including key business stakeholders and senior management.

 

o)            Communicate to all stakeholders on a timely basis, including Senior or Executive Level Management.

 

p)            Employ program management processes, methodology and standards for project execution and delivery.

 

q)            Supports project negotiations by providing subject matter expertise around retail banking and project lifecycle methodologies.

 

r)             Ensure project closes effectively through production turnover, documentation of learning and provision of feedback on project resource performance.

 

s)            Performs all of the above independently and with limited supervision.
