Job Description:

Defines business/system requirements by facilitating user meetings and interviewing users, developing use cases, and researching and resolving issues. Participates in business analysis project planning and management by documenting and maintaining plans, managing issue logs and preparing project documentation. Analyzes current processes and recommends solutions and improved processes. May also oversee the acquisition, analysis and dissemination of subject matter knowledge. Provides technical and business knowledge to clients. Keeps abreast of technological and competitive developments. Conducts research on industry practices and standards and other benchmarking data. Codes and maintains business application programs from user instructions or formal functional specifications. Experience in the analysis and testing phases in the development cycle. In addition having experience of 3 to 6 years.

 

Supports analysis components of an initiative with a particular focus on business analysis, design and deployment to support projects within and outside of the IT & Ops Transformation Program. Supports the formulation and definition of business scope and objectives based on client and user needs. Responsibilities include • Gather and analyze information to define and document business requirements and other project documents, such as business cases, cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment s • Provide input into IT Operations PMO documents, and project plans regarding tasks and status tracking • Participate in design sessions and support the preparation of design documents, test plans and scripts, issue logs, conversion plans and other project documents, as needed • Analyze current processes and recommends process improvements • Research and resolve issues • Work closely with project team to ensure day to day activities are aligned with business requirements MUST HAVE: • Minimum 7 years' experience providing business analysis support for systems development projects and/or client fund on-boarding efforts in financial services or high tech (preferably with a focus on derivatives) • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Project • Experience collaborating across functional areas to gather information and prepare business requirements and other SDLC-related documents (test plans & cases, issues list, etc.) • Knowledge of the systems development life cycle • Expert analytical skills, detail oriented, and good follow-through skills • Self motivated, good interpersonal skills and team player • Communicates clearly, both verbally and in written format
