Solutions delivery group is looking for a talented IT professional who excels in the solution management discipline, collaboration with business and IT stakeholders to define current and future state business processes, has a demonstrable capture of the SDLC/ITLC and project management, and can drive towards end-to-end IT solutions.
Expected Contributions:
• End to end delivery of IT Projects
• Elicit program/multiple service requirements and incorporate into the product planning lifecycle
• Ensure program/multiple service business priorities and IT capabilities are aligned
• Identify program/multiple service risks and describe how to manage them
• Gather feedback and drive improvements to processes for programs/multiple services
• Bring stakeholders to agreement and build communities in support of programs/multiple services
• Strong presentation and communications skills to communicate project status and metrics
Qualifications:
• Experience authoring or collaborating on Vision Scope documents, Business Requirement Documents and/or UAT test cases
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong Client Relationship Management Skills
• Strong Communication Skills, both oral and written targeted to varying audiences
• Strong Negotiation and Consensus building skills
• 2-4 years of Program/Project/Solution Management or Business Analysis experience
• Prior experience in Learning Systems preferred
• Solid understanding of the SDLC (software development life cycle)
• Ability to work independently in a cross functional, matrixed environment
• Prior experience with Learning domain is desirable

Required Skills:

Working knowledge on general hardening baselines of Windows, Linux, Mainframes etc.

Required Skills:
Collect and drop Teradata column/index statistics as required. Develop Statistics Collection processes.
-5- 7 years experience in database administration
-Identify Compression Opportunities for tables.
-Identify data skews, communicate to application development team and eliminate skew
-Periodic data refresh from production to test and development environments
-Database Production Release Management
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsibility for constructing and/or optimizing physical database designs tailored for the Teradata information warehousing database environment in support of various strategic application development initiatives.
-Supporting application development timelines by reviewing and assisting in the implementation of designs and/or incremental changes to database definitions.
-Responsibility for gathering query, CPU & Disk resource requirements for new applications and extensions to existing systems.

Client is looking for a systems engineer to help them untangle a consolidated file share that hosts about 6tb of office files, application builds and serves as a drop point for data transfers. clients are looking to classify the data, restructure the share architecture, put in place a manageable security policy, and implement quotas and auditing. A successful candidate will have the following skillsets.
-Extensive Experience with Windows 2008 Server
-Extensive Microsoft Clustering Experience
-Solid Understanding of Windows Server File Share Technologies
-Windows 2008 File System
-Data Classification
-Quotas
-Auditing
-PowerShell Scripting
-Ability to Generate XLS Reports from Large Data Sets that are "Management Friendly"

Client's Team:
Given the scope of work, we will be asking the business for additional funding to carry us through the next fiscal year. Initially we will be looking to do an in-depth analysis of the current data. We will then work to design the "to be" file structure, security model and quota/auditing policy. Once the new structure has been designed we will then begin the work to classify and migrate the data. This last portion of work will require extensive communications with the project team and potentially the end users.
