Our client has an opening for a Cognos Developer, 9+ month contract position, located in Reston, VA.  Required skills are strong knowledge of SQL Server Datawarehousing and ETL concepets and Report Studio.

Job Description:

 

Cognos developer with strong expertise with Report
Studio (for our reporting team) and Event Studio (for the notifications
project). This person will be the only Cognos developer on the Reports and
Data warehouse teams so they need to have very strong communication skills.
They will also need to have a good understand and experience on the data
side (being able to design the underlying data that flows through the DWH).
The DWH is in SQL Server 2010 so experience in SQL is required. Our Cognos
is version 10 so experience in 10 is a plus but 8.4 is fine as well.
