Primary Duties

 

•     Writing new web services, and modifying existing ones, for use by SharePoint and/or Drupal client code for business rules enforcement and data access

•     Writing new SQL, and enhancing existing SQL, to fetch and store data in MS-SQL and Oracle databases, to be used in the aforementioned web services

•     Planning and executing code deployments and configuration changes to JBoss servers

•     Occasional weekend and after-hours work

 

Required Skills

 

•     Java (JDK 5 or later) on JBoss (4.3 or later). Includes expertise and experience with generics, annotations, collections, interfaces.

•     Eclipse expertise

•     Writing (not consuming) web services in Java using either Axis or CXF

•     Writing SQL against MSSQL and Oracle

•     JUnit

•     Ant

•     Ability to work with pre-existing code
