Job Description:
· Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for OLTP, DSS relational and DSS multidimensional database solutions.
· Develop and implement strategies and methodologies in support of Master Data Management initiatives.
· Lead or actively participate in end-user requirement gathering meetings
· Facilitate modeling sessions and design walk-throughs with DBA and development team members
· Work with DBA to convert logical data models to physical data models for implementation
· Gather and maintain accurate metadata in Erwin models.
· Work with Data Architecture team to ensure proposed database implementation
· Provide operational support for existing models including impact analysis, logical and physical data model changes and metadata updates.
· Follow corporate best practices for Data Administration and Data Modeling to support the corporate methodologies.
· Write efficient SQL and store procedures against database tables on various platforms.
· Profile and analyze data during the application development. Act as a data SME for developers, testers and business analysts.
· Create and maintain the XML schema and collaborate with SOA developers during WSDL creation.
· Tutor and mentor less experienced data models on data modeling best practices.

Job Description:
• Interfaces with product management/marketing organization to understand and prioritize market needs, allocate them across product releases, and negotiate scope, cost, and timelines for release projects
• Manages project plans for software applications projects for the financial industry according to established methodology (e.g., utilizing PMI and/or Agile/Scrum guidelines)
• Certified Agile Scrum Master with Agile project management experience.
• Communicates with all levels of the organization regarding the project status, issues, risks and other pertinent information
• Controls the projects schedule, scope and costs
• Help in the management and control of technical resources
• Manages the change control function of the projects and identifies and mitigates project risk
• Resolves problems and issues that arise during the project
• Conducts project closeout and completes the project file
• Leads cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products or release of upgrades to existing products
• Interacts directly with vendors and suppliers; interfaces with customers as needed
• Monitors performance of staff during time on the project and conducts review with employee as part of the project closeout or when employee transitions off the project if prior to the close of the project
• Travels periodically as required
• Celebrates project success and rewards excellent team performance
• Participates and leads process improvements within the Technical Project Management department and with additional stakeholders as necessary
